  The Horticultural Research team of DIAAT, involved since 1996 in Space Activities Researches carried out by prof.ssa Stefania De Pascale, is entering into an agreement to cooperate with European Space Agency in order to join the MELiSSA Food Characterisation Project Team www.esa.int/SPECIALS/Melissa.
  The applied methodologies will involve technologies for crop production and eco-physiology (gas exchanges, water potentials, hormones balance) studies, integrated by analytical methods for the evaluation of product quality.
  For the above reason, the DIAAT is recruiting for a temporary full time, contractually limited position for a "postdoctoral research position", up to 15 months.
We are seeking candidates with the following profile:
 - Master degree and PhD in Agricultural Sciences
 - Previous experiences on crop physiology, crop biology and soilless cultivation
 - Proven ability to work well in a team, and fluent English written and oral skills, given the international collaborative nature of the project related to plant growth in closed environment.
